United Nations Child Protection Course

The Child Protection course will enable the participants to implement the training material given to them in pre-deployment training at their unit. The participants should furthermore be able to explain the roles and responsibilities of military, police and civilian actors involved in child protection work. The course will also prepare individual participants for assignments relating to Child Protection in UN missions. DPKO regards Child Protection training as mandatory prior to deployment to a UN mission.
