Exercises

The Swedish Armed Forces conduct thousands of training exercises every year. These range from teaching new recruits to assemble and take apart their weapons, to large-scale exercises involving all active units.
Most training exercises are based on real-life scenarios such as multi-national peacekeeping missions or national missions. All aspects of such missions are practised: armed combat, negotiation, and co-operation with international colleagues.
