METHOD AND OBJECTIVES
Under the guidance of a lead instructor and supported by selected instructors and subject matter experts, this demanding and dynamic ten-day course simulates a tactical-level planning group moving through the NATO Tactical Planning Process for Land Forces. The curriculum is comprised of multiple short lectures, followed by practical exercises and back-briefs in syndicates (40% - 60%). The course includes formal briefs to a senior mentor who performs the role of a tactical commander.
The primary target audience consists of military staff officers (OF 2-5) or civilian equivalents who have been/will be appointed to positions where they will be involved in planning in tactical level HQs.
The course will be conducted in English; a language proficiency of 3333 is required. The maximum number of participants for this iteration is 36. To apply, participants must complete and submit the SWEDINT CV and Application form; an early application is highly recommended.
The intention of SWEDINT is to execute the Pilot NLTP course if the situation allows. This includes the COVID-19 itself but also National regulations and change of priorities within SWEDINT / HQ ARRC. We will continue to update (potential) students, based on the dynamic situation.
