Professional staff officers attending UNSOC

Monday 5 of May 41 students from eight different nations began studying at the UNSOC, United Nations Staff Officer Course at SWEDINT. The course is the first out of two courses for this year and is conducted under the umbrella of NORDEFCO.

UNSOC is a three week course, consisting of lectures/ syndicate discussions and map exercises partly together with UNCIVSOC (United Nation Civilian Staff Officer Course). The course finalizes next week with an Integrated Staff Exercise (INSTEX) with multidimensional and integrated approach.
The students during this UNSOC are from Cote D`Ivoire, Denmark, Finland, Kazakhstan, Norway, Republic of Korea, Sweden and Thailand. This week will end with UNSOC map exercise II.
