The Air Warfare Centres' mission is to promote the advancement of development of the Swedish Air Force and its personnel.
The Centre consists of four schools - The Flying Training School, Air Surveillance and Control Systems School, the Aircrew Leadership and Weapons School and the Air Base Command School.
It also includes the Air Force Training and Education Division, Air Warfare Capability and Development division as well as the Swedish Armed Forces Dog training Centre, which supplies the Swedish Armed Forces with operational dog teams through breeding, rearing, training and continuous development.
