The world's best skiers going for gold in Boden

About a month ago, she was one minute after Charlotte Kalla in the 30 km classic style at the world championships in Falun. Now she and several others from the world's elite is in Boden to compete for medals in the World Military Skiing Championship.
“The world championships in Falun was a success even though I did not reach all the way to the podium. Now I am looking forward to compete here, it is always fun and we have a good spirit within the team, almost like a big family”, says Stefanie Böhler, Germany.

More than 250 participants from 20 nations arrived to Sweden and the 53rd World Military Skiing Championship on Monday the 23rd of March.

Besides Stefanie Böhler, more than 250 participants from 20 nations arrived to Boden and the 53rd World Military Skiing Championship on Monday the 23rd of March.

TheWorld Military Skiing Championship has attracted some of the worlds top skiers. The audience in Pagla and Storklinten will be able to see the cross country skiers Martin Jaks, Czech Republic, Sandra Ringwald, Germany and Ilya Chernousov, Russia.

In biathlon we will see, among others, Simon Fourcade, France and Lars Berger, Norway. The most famuos alpine skiers on site are Tessa Worley, Steve Missillier and Adrien Théaux, France.

The first competition event is the cross country team sprint on Tuesday afternoon in Pagla.
