NCGM and NATO Workshop in Norfolk, USA

During the week 08-12 October Nordic Centre for Gender in Military Operations (NCGM) and NATO, ACO and ACT, conducted a joint workshop regarding several gender related topics.

The main focus was to discuss and agree upon the relationship and responsibilities in the future cooperation between NATO and NCGM as the appointed “Department Head (DH) for all NATO-led curricula concerning gender”.
The result from the workshop was a draft MOU between NATO (ACT and SHAPE) and NCGM. Additionally a draft plan for E&T programme was agreed, which will be further developed and staffed before finalisation.
