Develop a solid base through sport

“ One of the major missions of our Armed Forces today is to work together in multinational missions. To be able to carry out these missions efficiently and safely, we have to know each other; we have to develop a solid base of common values. It is in this broad context I find the continued relevance of military sports cooperation”, said lieutenant colonel Mikael Mineur , Chief of Swedish delegation CISM and Head of Swedish Armed Force Sport Center.

Around 60 males and females from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Brazil and Germany will be competing in five different sport events the next coming three days.

The sport event covers obstacle race, lifesaving race, seamanship, utility swimming race and amphibious cross country race. The first event will start with obstacle race and lifesaving race on Monday.
