Permits for flights and air obstacles
Filming or photographing the Armed Forces’ protected objects from the air is a criminal offense. Here you can read about how to obtain permission to fly, for example, drones.
Among the tasks of the Swedish Armed Forces is also receiving reports of so-called air obstacles, such as tall buildings and installations.
Diplomatic permits
Access to Swedish territory for foreign aircraft, ships, or military vehicles requires special permits. This also applies when foreign personnel are to visit Swedish military facilities, units, schools, centers, or similar. This type of permit is called a diplomatic permit and is granted or denied by the Swedish Armed Forces.
