Special Operations Group

The Special Operations Group is the core unit within the Swedish Armed Forces’ special forces. The joint special forces system provides unique and alternative courses of action to achieve strategic objectives and is led by the Commander of the Special Forces Command. All personnel are specially selected, trained, and equipped for tasks that, regular units cannot carry out, for various reasons.
