Norrland Dragoon Regiment

The Norrland Dragoon Regiment is one of Sweden’s new regiments, but it has a long and distinguished history. The unit can operate in all of Sweden’s environments. Its core and specialty is combat capability in the subarctic environment. The regiment is based in Arvidsjaur, where wilderness areas and proximity to the mountains provide difficult and challenging conditions for soldiers to train in.
