Nordic Centre for Gender in Military Operations

The UNMIMOC is held in collaboration between SWEDINT and the Folke Bernadotte Academy.

While the UN integration agenda has been in place since the 1990s, several studies show that implementation is lagging. UN integration and its implications is often not well understood even by UN personnel serving in integrated missions, let alone adequately implemented on a day to day basis for it to have the promised impact of a more coherent delivery of UN support.

This training course aims to contribute to a better understanding among UN personnel on the purpose and practical implications of UN integration. It will enable UN staff to develop the mindset required to effectively and successfully operate in an integrated UN mission context.
