Press invitation: Join the Swedish navy in Nato operation
The Swedish navy invites members of the media to embark one of the Swedish vessels that patrol the Baltic Sea under Nato control.
Media is welcome to embark a Swedish naval patrol vessel at sea on February 4. The ship is under NATO command and is tasked with NATO operation Baltic Sentry which focuses on protecting Critical Underwater Infrastructure (CUI) in the Baltic Sea.
You will be given the opportunity to see how the Swedish Navy and NATO protect CUI and monitor civilian shipping in the southern Baltic Sea.
Due to the widespread media interest, we are now fully booked. We are therefore unable to receive any additional visitors.
Schedule February 4:
9.30 AM Media gathers outside Karlskrona Naval base guard (link below)
10 AM Cast off, operations at sea, time for interviews and demonstration of Naval operations.
