To give the participants knowledge and understanding of the need for civilian, military and police officers to develop terms for co-operation and co-ordination in Peace Support Operations (PSO) led by the UN, the EU or NATO. The course relies heavily on interaction between the participants from the different dimensions (Primarily civilian, military and police) during the classroom exercises. After the course participants will understand the mechanisms of a modern peace support operation. Students will also realize the importance of striving for cooperation between the different actors in a peace support operation. They will also understand the idea of a Comprehensive approach to operational challenges.
