The IAPTC conference in Dhaka, Bangladesh continued on Tuesday with the theme "Coping with Change – Identifying the training needs".

The Commandant of SWEDINT Colonel Lena Persson Herlitz held a briefing on the topic covering the “Considerations and Challenges for Training in a European perspective”. The overall assumptions of the discussion among the participants afterwards were the high need for additional integration in operations between Civil-Military-Police components.

SWEDINT is offering this kind of training in the United Nations/-Staff Officers Course/-Civil Staff Officers Course and the Police Commanders Course. All these courses meet the training requirements and understanding for the respective components tasks and methods of a fully integrated United Nations Course.

The representatives from civilian and Police participants at the conference related to SWEDINT and it´s courses as a good example of integrated training before deploying to a UN mission.
