The last day of Competition

On Friday the 24th the last races of Naval Pentathlon took place, the Amphibious Cross-Country Race. The Race consists of different elements such as running, shooting,paddling and hand grenade throwing.

The winner of the Amphibious Cross- Country for Women is Caronlie Buunk from Norway. It's her third win this week. Mari Lindström took the second place and Jenna Säkkinen came third. Both are from Finland.

The winner of the Amphious Cross-Country for Men is Jacek Sliwiniski from Poland, Second place went to Giacomo Gellert from Germany and third place took Lars Ekman from Sweden.

The winner of Total Results for Women is Caroline Buunk, gold, Cecilia Sjöholm from Sweden, silver, and Simone Lima from Brazil took the bronze.

The winner of Total Results for Men is Lars Ekman from Sweden, gold, Matthias Weseman, silver, and Giacomo Gellert, bronze. Both are from Germany.

Sweden won gold for Teams, both for Men and Women, here are the results:

Men:

3. Finland

The Championship is over for this time and the 1st Marine Regiment would like to thank all the athletes, trainers, Team Captains and Chief of Missions for an exciting event and we wish you all the best in the future.
