Caroline Buunk winner of the Obstacle Race for Women

– I thought the Brazilian, my opponent, would open hard, so I told myself not to be stressed by that. And when I passed the obstacle with doors I just increased the speed and passed her, a smiling Caroline says.

Like the winner in the male competition, Caroline is World Champion in Obstacle Race and may notice some pressure.

– I was nervous before the start. Some people expect that I should win, but I try not to think about that. But now I will relax on a excursion, Caroline ends before running away to the waiting buses for a welfare trip to guide tours at the Vasa Museum or the Old Town.

Jessica Lessa from Brazil took second place and Mari Lindström from Finland came third.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, awaits two races- Utility Swim Race and Life Saving Race
