– to prepare and train military staff officers, civilian staff personnel & senior police officers from different countries to function at an entry level in a UN-led multinational HQ conducting Peacekeeping Operations (PKO),
– to integrate the participants from all three courses and have them working together in common meetings, planning, map-exercises, presentations and staff work,
– to execute a Command Post Exercise (CPX) where all the participants will be given different appointments in a UN HQ, representing the UN Civilian Staff, the UN Military Staff & the UN Police Staff acting together.
– to practise coordination and cooperation in order to solve problems in different lines of operation during the CPX.
