The NATO Comprehensive Operations Planning Course (COPC) is taking place at SWEDINT. The course started on 6 May and will last until 17 May, comprising 46 students and some 20 instructors and subject matter experts from NATO School Oberammergau, NATO Commands and other supporting organisations – in total 21 nations are represented.
To read the revised invitation, please open this article!Nordic Centre for Gender in Military Operations is hosting a two day Flag Officer Seminar on how to work with gender perspectives in a military and security environment and how gender perspectives will contribute to achieve the overall political, military strategic and operational objectives.
For the second year in a row, Swedish Armed Forces International Centre (SWEDINT) has contributed to conduct three courses united under the UN triple concept in Kimaka, Uganda.
UNJOC stands for United Nations Junior Officers Course and is a hands-on tactial course for non-commissioned officers, warrant officers and officers, with the overall aim of developing and improving skills with emphasis on UN peace-keeping techniques, but also knowledge on UN organization and work as well as other related IO’s and NGO’s. Target group for participation are troop-leaders from squad up to battalion whom are destined for deployment on any of the various UN missions.
Between the 6th and 15th of March twenty-eight students from thirteen Nations has been participating in the Gender Field Advisor course conducted by NCGM at SWEDINT.
