Letter of regulation

The government of Sweden ensures that parliamentary resolutions are executed. This is generally achieved by divesting such responsibilities to government authorities. These responsibilities are divested from government to authority via a so-called letter of regulation.

The letter of regulation includes the targets to be achieved by the authority, the funds available to it, and how such funds are to be allocated to the various areas within the authority.

The Swedish Armed Forces letter of regulation for the 2006 budget year including modifications and updates is available to download in PDF format, (in Swedish "Regleringsbrev").
