Here is a list of the Armed Forces’ training exercises and events that have been carried out over the past year. Thousands of different scenarios are drawn up each year to train soldiers and sailors for extreme situations. In addition, activities are held to disseminate information and raise awareness of the Armed Forces’ work for the general public. The exercises “Joint Challenge” and “the National Conference People & Defence” held in Sälen are among the activities that have been arranged.

From the final exercise on the plains of Skåne to international cooperation along the wintry national border, the range of Armed Forces’ exercises is extremely diversified. Both in terms of geographic location and size. Common to most is that they are largely based on negotiations and meetings between people. Even minor activities, such as individual field weeks for national conscripts, count as military exercises.

The Armed Forces also organizes a variety of events. Examples include visiting days at units and competitions in military sports.

In the menu is a selection of the activities the Armed Forces has carried out.
